Sunday evening, BF and I went to see Mamma Mia, the Movie.
BF had been complaining all afternoon:
“oh no I can’t believe I’m goint to see Mamma Mia with you”
“oh no, I forgot we were going to see Mamma Mia…” etc etc.
After a while you just ignore and keep going. Things go so much better when you just don’t say anything 
Anyway, we went! I was very enthusiastic from the beginning, I just love Abba. But to be honest the first 15min were quite cringy, I was a bit worried. But then? Waow, amazing, good funny, I was crying and laughing at the same time, with just one wish, get up and start dancing in the cinema…
A Feel-good movie, a real good one. Amazing cast: Meryl Streep is just absolutely brilliant, a voice… I found Amanda Seyfried a bit annoying but BF loved her (of course!) and I can’t wait for the dvd release.
This film will definitely join my special dvd shelf with Grease, Dirty Dancing, Mary Popins, Love Actually and Bridget Jones.
I forgot to mention Colin Firth and Pierce Brosnan… Oh my God! quite surprising at first to hear Pierce singing but then it’s good cause none of them are professional singers and it makes it all more realistic.

After having seen the movie I checked the bios of the principal actors: Meryl Streep is 59!! When you see what she does in this film you just want to be as fit as her when you’re 59. She definitely IS the “Dancing Queen” !
this is one of the few plays i’ve actually seen, which ended up being great… it’s funny to think of ol’ Pierce taking a stab at singing, yeeesh
